Mother Nabila Ritchie explains: “We had tried all kinds of treatments – NHS, private, steroids, homeopathic, family ‘cure alls’ – you name it, we tried it for our daughter. Then we read about a range of products in a National Eczema Society magazine called Eucerin that claimed to help severe eczema like Jasmine’s.
“We bought some Eucerin Extremely Dry Skin Treatment Cream that contains 10% urea. Urea is an ingredient that occurs naturally in healthy skin. We found the cream very easy to apply to the affected areas and because it didn’t sting, Jasmine liked it too. Within a couple of days, we noticed a difference in the appearance and texture of her skin and the itching had been alleviated considerably. As Eucerin is available in different strengths, it was easy to gradually reduce the strength of the cream yet still treat the skin to prevent another flare-up”.

From a young age Sue Williams’s life has been affected by extremely dry skin and eczema. Symptoms have shown themselves through a feeling of tightness and signs of flaking and itching, preventing Sue from enjoying some aspects of her life. At school she was always envious of her peers who had smooth and soft arms and legs as hers were always rough and scaly. As someone who likes to keep fit and lead an active lifestyle, Sue has been so embarrassed by red, sore patches on her legs that she covered them up with tights and a leotard. The appearance of her legs has sometimes led to her not being able to wear shorts and skirts.
Sue has tried a number of emollients and skin creams designed to treat eczema but until she discovered products in the Eucerin Dry skin range she saw little or no improvement in the condition of her skin.
“I had tried several products to treat my skin, but I found that some emollients tended to leave a greasy layer or the cream would have to be left for a while to sink into the skin. Eucerin Dry Skin products are great as they not only do what they say on the bottle but also allow me to get on with my life – I don’t have to sit around waiting for the product to absorb. I would recommend anyone who suffers with dry skin to try the range
The daily application of Eucerin Dry Skin has improved the condition of Sue’s skin and has helped her maintain the appearance of her skin. Her skin feels more comfortable now and she has less flare ups as a consequence of using the range. She does wish she had discovered the range earlier though – Eucerin could have helped to keep the wrinkles at bay!

“I was recommended Eucerin when my skin was going through a stage of reacting badly to every face cream I tried. Not only was there no bad reaction, but my face has been almost blemish free ever since. It’s made a big difference to the way I feel - I can wear make up without it flaking, I can go swimming without the chlorine affecting me, I can do what I want without worrying. I'd definitely recommend it to someone with dry or sensitive skin who just wants their skin to behave as it should do.”

Comments father Myke, “We were stunned by the results we saw with the products in the Eucerin Dry Skin range. The itching came under control and my son Andreas began to sleep through the night which, as you can imagine, was a real relief for us too. Plus the creams and lotions began to put the moisture back in the skin so his skin looks and feels so much better and much more comfortable than with his dry skin and eczema”. The Rosenthal-English family would now never use another dry skin product range as the results with Eucerin Dry Skin have been so positive on Andreas’s young skin.

After suffering with eczema since childhood I have tried numerous treatments and complementary products to alleviate the problem. Eucerin Dry Skin was recommended by a friend of the family - and I have seen fantastic results. My skin feels hydrated after years of dry and tightness, and the constant itching from behind my knees and elbows has subsided. My dermatologist is delighted with the results and the success with the 10% Lotion has inspired me to try the rest of the range.

“One of my clients suggested a product range called Eucerin that she’d read about in a magazine which was for treating dry skin conditions and eczema. I bought some face cream from the pharmacist and was very happy with the results after a few days. The face wash cleansed my face and left it feeling lovely and soft – it felt like I was putting all the goodness into my skin instead of stripping it away. The face cream replenished my face further and it makes a great base for make-up. With Eucerin, I can manage my dry skin and my make up now looks great!”
